We all got together at the Axe Club of America in Charlotte. It was a small place tucked in among a few bars, a skate park, and an Escape Room. Parking kind of sucks but it was totally worth it.
Everyone had a really great time! We had a coach at each booth, and we were taught four different ways to throw the axe. My best throw was similar to throwing a dart, if you can imagine.
Most of the time I totally blew it, missing altogether or sticking it, and then having the axe immediately fall out. I did get a bullseye once.../
As did so many of our friends!!
They even had a bar, because obviously beer and axe throwing go together!!
Seriously, if you have a chance, go and throw an axe. It was a really fun night, and everyone felt so empowered!
