I’ve started planning my 2026 adventures, aiming for one per week. I do have one weekend where I have two adventures, because I couldn’t resist! Here are some, but not all, of my plans:
Arora, at the SC State Musuem. I’ve always wanted to see the Aurora Borealis, and this is my chance to get a glimpse at what it could be like! Plus. I love Columbia, and I’m planning to move to one of the suburbs, so this is my chance to scope out the area I’m moving to!
I “made” an ornament at Dollywood, but you are limited as to how much you can participate. I’ve always wanted to do a bit more, and this is my chance! I’ll be making a pint glass.
I’m dragging my son along for this one. My favorite local Romance Book Shop organized a hockey game event. I haven’t been to a live hockey game since high school, so this will be loads of fun. Plus we get to meet some players beforehand, which my son is going to love, so it’s a win win!
This is the first event of the new year, and what a way to start it off! I love CDE’s vibe, and the message is perfect for my new year. I cannot wait for this word shop, which will be followed up with the Stranger Things finale at the movie theater. An epic start to the new year!
